I never understood why people loved the baby stage. I loved having Jace and Parker, but both were difficult babies. I always loved it in the moment, but was so grateful when they hit the year mark and stopped having colic and crying most of the time...then I had James.
He is the happiest child you have ever seen. His face immediately lights up when you say his name, he belly laughs when you touch his neck or put on music and dance with him. He waves his arms in the air and squeals when his brothers run laps around where he sits. The other day, it was time for his nap, but how do you put a baby to sleep who won't stop giggling at everything you say?
He loves each new experiece, baths, showers, sitting in the grass, touching paper, pulling at dad's leg hairs. The only thing he doesn't love is bedtime. I think he is afraid he might miss another moment with the people he loves. What a blessing to have such an angel as our third baby.
