I have had the best Mother's Day ever. Mike goes all out for holidays, and it makes everything really fun. He lets me have a Mother's Day weekend, and sent me yesterday for a pedicure. He took the kids almost all day and let me do some things I needed to catch up on. When I told him he didn't need to do so much he replied, "You are a great mom, and we want you to always love being a mother." Have I said how great I think he is?
I slept in a little this morning (is 7 am sleeping in?) and woke up to waffles and strawberries and both Jace and Parker so excited to give me Mother's Day cards and presents they could hardly hold it in. They are both such fun boys.
We inhaled breakfast and rushed to get ready for church, since Jace had to be there by 7:50 to sing to me. I'm pretty sure there is nothing more fun than watching your kids sing primary songs. Aside from Parker's, "I wanna go up there with Jace!" it was a beautiful experience. Jace had such a satisfied look on his face, as if he understood how much I love hearing him sing and watching him grow up.
For Mother's Day Mike and the boys got me beautiful flowers, a cool pitcher, and a bike!! I guess since I have 3 boys I will be taking bike rides. Don't expect a picture of me on a bike anytime soon. I actually am really excited about it, but a bit hesistant. We'll see if that expression,"It's just like riding a bike" is true.
Parker made a little star magnet for me with his picture in it. He was so proud of it, and showed it to everyone. Jace made me a little card with his favorite things about me. It said:
"You're as smart as an elephant" "You're as pretty as a flower" "The funniest thing we do together is make messes" "You're really good at cleaning up" "My mom always plays with me"
There truly is nothing I love more than being a mom. I never knew this gig was so good. My husband and my kids are my life--I enjoy every minute I spend with them and am so grateful I get to stay home and be a full-time mom.

Brooke, you have such a darling family. I linked on your blog through Kim's. Your boys are so cute. It is good to find out what is going on in your life. Tricia Robison North
A bike????? What the heck???? I can't wait to see a picture of you and your three boys on a long, relaxing bike ride! That sounds about right! huh?
Did I mention that I still can't believe you have your own adorable family? Blows my mind. It seems like not too long ago when we were sitting in Chemistry class gossiping and smacking on bubble gum!
Brookie! How do you only get more beautiful? And what a cute family you have. I love your blog; I truly don't think I've seen you in almost ten years. (Could it be?)
I'm going to continue checking in. I miss you.
