When grandma is around, don't try and get Jace to leave her. If she goes, Jace goes. They made several trips to Target, where he always got a donut and a toy. He wanted to stay home with her if I was going somewhere, and he only wanted Grandma to take him to school. He even used her as his show-and-tell.
While they were at the grocery store, he told the clerk, "This is my grandma. She's visiting me." It's obvious he knows she loves him, even when he acts a little naughty. When grandma is around, mom really gets a break. She busies herself cooking and cleaning and even runs errands. At the grocery store, she loads up on delicious food for my us. Jace loves that she always brings him raspberries--I think he ate all six cartons. Now, why don't we live closer??
