Happy Mother's Day MiMi

It is never easy to have two moms, but I feel so blessed to have a mother-in-law that cares for me and loves me and my family so much. First and always I have to thank her for the son she raised for me. I honestly cannot imagine anyone better for me. My life is unexpected and spotaneous yet surprisingly steady and comfortable. Mike is truly, I think, the best man around.

One of the many things I've learned from Marci, is to recognize beauty and goodness wherever we are. She takes the time to notice detail, to breathe in smell, to taste the minute, and to see color everywhere she goes. She sees beuty in buildings I've only walked past, in landscape I've seen at a glance and in food I only eat. Life through her eyes is different than what I see, and I'm grateful she has shown me there is more to life than just "getting things done." From her I've learned to enjoy the journey and take deep breathes when moments are good, instead of hurry on to the next event so we don't get off schedule. I'm grateful for her love and kindness and wish her the best Mother's Day. We love you Mimi!
