Piercy, we could not love you more! You are a complete joy to our family and bubble over with happiness. You have learned and grown so much this year. You are smart, and interesting, even at 2. You are an excellent talker and communicator and say things that make the whole family laugh constantly. You can tell when there is tension in the home or car and you diffuse it by being darling or funny or both. Not only do dad and I love you but all of your brothers are completely smitten, and you love them just as fiercely. You love having them home and playing with them as much as they will let you. You are easy and obedient and kind. You play really well with other kids and can listen and obey. You talk to strangers and it makes them so happy. You say,  "Sorry" and "Thank You" easily and often.
 Y
ou are full of life and energy and love to run, jump, play soccer, play football and do just about anything active. You love to ride your bike and be outside. You love to climb and are fearless, just like the rest of your brothers. You still love books and have recently started to love cars too. You are easy to please and are enamored with just about everything. You especially love animals and are not afraid of them at all. You love to snuggle and you will come into our bed in the middle of the night, get really close to one of us and say, "Nuggle me mom." I cannot resist. You have been pretty healthy this year with a few ear infections and a few stomach aches, but you are so sweet, even when you are sick. You don't love watching TV, but you do have a thing for the songs Elmo sings. We cannot tell you how incredibly lucky we feel that you were sent to our family. You make us laugh, smile, and remember how much we love being a family. We are grateful every day for you!

Welcome to Utah Mimi and Papa!!

One thing we know we are going to love about living in Utah is that it seems everyone has a reason to be here for something...no one EVER had a reason to be in Michigan for ANYTHING, so we are thrilled at the prospect of all the reconnecting we can do with old friends and our opportunities to see family.

We were thrilled to be here for the weekend Bryce and Lora blessed sweet baby Tagg. If attending the ordinance wasn't good enough, it meant that we would be able to be with Mimi, Papa, and Jenni and her family too. So, so great and something we haven't been able to do in over a year!

The fun started with swimming at Aunt Becky's!

Then a serious Cafe Rio feast before we started the very late BYU v. UTAH game. Too bad the outcome was not what we were hoping for.

Here is the darling Bryce and Lora Romney Family. It was so great to be there with them as they blessed this sweet baby boy!

Baby Tagg is just delicious!

After the blessing we headed to a park for the after party. It was so much fun to sit and chat with friends and family and eat all the yummy food.

The Romney family!!
Inside this delectable looking cake is a WATERMELON! YUM! The frosting is whipped coconut cream. So good and so healthy too.

The family was also reunited with friends from Bellevue. So fun to play catch up!

After the blessing Mimi and Papa spent another day with Bryce and Lora and then came to Kaysville to visit us at our new home! We enjoyed every minute of the short couple of days.

The first afternoon they were here was a gorgeous day, so we went and played for HOURS at Boondocks. It was a wonderful afternoon full of fun. We mini-golfed...

Hit the batting cages...

Played arcade games, laser tag, and mini bowling until we were tired and starving!

They got to know little Pierce better since he was home all day. He loved his ride up the canyon with them...

He loved bringing them to music class...

And loved drinking Mimi's green smoothie.

We got to show off our very fun backyard and we picked the rest of our ripe pears with Papa.

The picked the boys up from school and took them out to lunch at Subway. Super cool, and Mimi took me on a little birthday shopping spree while Papa has a little more Papa and Pierce time.

Before they left, they helped the boys fill in bunches of the quarters they were missing...such a fun thing to do together!

We had so so so so much fun with them and cannot wait for them to join us again!

The Greatest Show on Earth!

Our family had never been to the circus before, so when we had a day off of school that coincided with  Barnum and Bailey coming to town my parents grabbed us all some afternoon tickets and we got to watch the Greatest Show on Earth. I was skeptical...I mean, the circus? How cool could it be? However, I am a believer!

The boys were mesmerized for 2 1/2 hours, even Pierce. It was completely amazing to watch and I loved having Pierce on my lap as he witnessed all the incredible feats. The only downside...it had the most expensive concessions on earth too. A $12 snowcone! You have to be kidding me, but grandma still got them all one treat. So much more fun to go with grandparents!

Happy Birthday Grams and Happy Birth Day baby Tripp!

I love birthdays. I love to celebrate them with anyone who will let me, so it was so great to be close enough to spend an afternoon with my mom on her birthday. We made it a little lunch and park party in September. My mom is just the tops. Now that I am a mother, I am even more blow away by all my mom did and the energy she had to do it all so well. She really is a rock star. Now, as a grandma, we appreciate her in a whole new way. She is always looking for opportunities to support and love my boys from near or far. She is excited for their triumphs and encourages them when life doesn't go their way. She is a constant model of faith, service, and testimony for me and I am so grateful to be her daughter!

I was also so THRILLED to be able to be here when Baby Tripp (Mitchell J. Olsen III) was born!! It was during the Relief Society broadcast and we rushed to the hospital right after to breathe in that special new baby air. He was so beautiful and healthy and Kelly looked fantastic, plus I adore watching Mitch with him. It's so crazy to see your little brothers become dads. We love having more little ones come into our family!
