Happy Birthday James!

James' birthday was quite the party. He went to breakfast with dad on the morning of his birthday, the had his baptism and party. He got to go shopping with grandma and grandpa and got an awesome new bike. That night he opened presents from Mimi and Papa and mom and dad, then they headed out to a movie for the final celebration! So awesome!

We were a little tired after all that party planning, so we had his birthday a few weeks later where we took 26 boys swimming at the Clearfield Rec center. We had pizza and veggies, plus cupcakes and the boys swam and swam. It was an awesome party and everyone had the best time. We love seeing James with his friends...a totally different kid. We were so happy to celebrate him!!

Pierce LOVED being able to swim too!

James' Baptism!

On Saturday, November 1, 2014 James was baptized a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. He was so prepared and ready for this big day and I was so proud of his decision. He ended up being lucky enough to be baptized on his very birthday! That rarely happens. This was our first Stake Baptism instead of a personal baptism, so it was a little different, but both ordinances were pure and beautiful just like the others.

Mike was able to both baptize and confirm James. I am so grateful to have a husband who is worthy to do both ordinances!

James had so many people he love him attend his baptism! Being close to family meant we had a crowd of those we love most make time for his special day. Marci, Rick, me and Mike worked like crazy all morning to be ready for the party afterward, and everyone who came was so helpful and kind! The Cafe Rio food was delicious and James enjoyed being able to have time to chat with friends and family!
