Our sweet Piercey, what would we do without you? You joined our family at the absolute perfect time and were born to bring joy and love to all of us. We cannot tell you how much light you bring into our home. You are hilarious most of the time, using words and phrases that belong to a 12 year old, not to a 4 year old. You think you are old enough to hang with the big boys and rarely let anything stop you. You still love to play games and read books, and you adore playing all sports and talk about it all the time. You were an absolute star on the soccer field this fall, scoring more goals than we could count. We love it when you want to play "fitball" and anything else you can talk someone into. You love being outside and you were a huge help in the garden this summer, happy to pick veggies and weed. You love finding bugs and playing with them and are not scared of very many things. You play on the tramp with your brothers for hours and are almost never the first one to cry. You adore dad, and he adores you right back. When you see his car pulling into the driveway, you run to the door and throw yourself at him and exclaim, "Guys, dad's home." You show equal enthusiasm for everyone in the family. We all know we are loved by you! You love to snuggle in the morning with mom, and are her little buddy all day every day. You are an awesome playmate for all your brothers and you will take attention from any of them at any time. James ends up playing with you the most, and while the two of you drive each other crazy, you are also so lucky to have each other. You are almost always pleasant to be around, chatting and chatting about anything and everything. You love hearing and telling stories and love people to listen to you. You started preschool and had a little bit of a hard time at first but have grown to love it. You are our most particular child, by far. Your clothes have to fit just right and the sleeves can never be too short. You are an absolute nut about your socks. You have strong opinions about what you wear and you are hard to dissuade. You don't like being messy either and are always nice and clean. You HATE being the center of attention in anything and hated doing the primary program. You refuse to give talks in primary and don't like all eyes on you. On the other hand, you have a ton of friends and make them super easily at the park, church, or at the gym. You are a blast to be around and you draw people to you. You are a quick learner and love learning new things. You like to do things "just right" and we can tell you will be a careful learner. On the other hand you are incredibly brave and up for trying anything. You are often in a big boy world, but also love the little kid stuff. You make holidays and lots of events magical for us all, all over again. We all love to watch you discover the world. We are positive that there is no one in the world more loved than you are by your parents and 3 big brothers! We are so grateful you are you!!
