FALL!!

When Mike heard that BYU and Michigan were playing in the Big House this year, he was on tickets right away. It had been two years since we had been back to Ann Arbor, and it felt so good to be home again. Even better, was seeing some of our very best friends from those years. I was so happy to be there!

We ate at our favorite spot, Frita Batidos, and enjoed every mouth watering bite. Then met our favorites at Plymouth Orchards for cinnamon doughnuts and a walk down memory lane.

One more place we had to stop by was Northwood, where we raised our family for 2 lovely years. It was simple, quiet, hard, and beautiful all at the same time. I look back on those years and feel so grateful for them!

That night we met some of our friends from Saline at a new restaurant that was fun and delicious. We only lived in Saline for a little over a year, but we met the most wonderful people there. We loved reconnecting with them.

The next morning we were off to the game. We had a nice long walk in beautiful Michigan fall weather. Then, walked through the tailgate, which is what makes Michigan football so amazing. People from everywhere celebrating their team together.

It was hard to decide what shirts to wear since we love both teams so much, but since we were in the Big House, Mike insisted we cheer for Michigan. After about half way through the game, we were pretty happy about choice. Michigan brought their A game, and BYU just couldn't keep up. It was so much fun to be there!!

That night we took our favorite walk through the ARB, a gorgeous spot on campus that we loved wandering through. It was the best! Such a quick, wonderful get away!

One of Pierce's favorite places in the whole wide world is the zoo! With the gorgeous weather, we had to get out there again. There is nothing like being with this boy at the zoo!

It was the cutest soccer season ever with Mike as Pierce's coach. Pierce would play his game on Tuesday, then start asking how many more days until his next game. He got really good at counting down the days until his next game. We haven't seen him love anything so much.

It makes me smile that these boys still like to do some of the "little boy" things. The snacks for bribing some general conference listening were a huge hit. They even took notes!!

Grandpa got a new Ferrari, and the boys were on top of the world with their first ride!!

Pierce does the cutest things at his preschool. Love the cute little smile on my favorite duck!

We dabbled in gardening this year in our front yard. We had a bit of a haphazard approach, but hit a serious home run with our gorgeous Dahlias. Hope they return again next year!

It had been 15 years since I had spent Jen's birthday with her. So fun to be with my best friend on her special day!!

Found this quote on the internet and loved it. I wanted to remember it!

The boys did an awesome job this year with their reflections photography entries. They all went on to district!
