This was the first time I've ever hosted Thanksgiving, and I loved doing it. The food was all incredible, the company couldn't be beat, and the kids were even on their best behavior. We had the missionaries over, and it was great to have them there too. We went around the table and said what we are most Thankful for, and items ranged from family, to the gospel, to good health, and more. And, of course, that we were eating Thanksgiving dinner OUTSIDE. What I am most grateful for is to have such a great family who loves me, my hubby and my kids so much. I can't believe how lucky I am. Oh, and my favorite dish? The cornbread stuffing!

What a fun weekend! That cornbread stuffing sounds absolutely amazing! You should post the recipe ... unless it's a big family secret! I love Mike's Turkey Bowl outfit too! And how fun to have your family all come to see you! That's the best! The first year we lived in Vermont, my whole family came out for Christmas. I knew it would have likely been easier for us to fly our tiny little selves out to them, but it just felt so nice to have everyone come to us. Oh, and by the way, did you know Dan Chappell served his mission in Madagascar too? Very cool.
Its so fun to see a picture of your family and how your family is growing! What a cute & amazing family you are blessed with!
Looks like fun...can I come next year?
You were so lucky to be able to eat outside! Utah was FREEZING! But a nice change to our weather here I guess. Looks like a blast!
Please please please know that you look fabulous. You don't need to enter the phase of bubble gum again!! What good times. You have such a great family. It got me thinking about when my kids are grown our thanksgiving dinner could feasibly be that small, rather than the 24 we had at our house, although I love that too. I so miss Mike's dorkiness. And the picture of naked James is the best. His body could pass as one of my babies!
what an adorable family of boys! we missed all of you, but i am glad that you were warm. looks like you had a lot of fun.
You are amazing to cook a Thanksgiving feast for that many people. I don't dare to even try just yet. Maybe next year.
Happy holidays!
