DANCE!
If you remember, Mike got me tickets to SYTYCD for my birthday--not only that, but he called lots of my friends' husbands and roped them into letting their wives go and they got us a suite for the concert. It was honestly, one of the best nights I've had in a long time. I still love to dance...so I couldn't wait for Oct. 7.
There we were, these old moms acting like we were 16 and loving it. The program was better than any of us expected...we saw all the dances we loved and even a few new ones. The performers were flawless and many were even better live than on TV. When it was over, we were amazed that it had been 3 hours!
The suite was a blast. We had food all night and had room for our own little dance concerts before and after the show. Tara is our party girl and made everyone strut their stuff and show their moves--she's very convincing. 12 girls dressed to party and dancing around without inhibitions...does it get any more fun? We want to make it an annual outing. Thanks girls for making this a GREAT birthday and for being my family away from home. I don't know what I would do without all of you. I'm luckier than I could ever have imagined.
And, my husband is the BEST! Always thinking of and planning great things for us. My life would be so dull without him.

It's 10 times more fun when you have some girls to enjoy the performance with you. What a fun night! I can't believe that the producers didn't ask you to perform a little rendition of "Fever". You would have won the audience over. :)

LOL! I'm loving the 4 Real pose! Too cool. We went to it here at the E Center (see my sister's post http://guyandtirra.blogspot.com/2008/09/sytycd-concert.html ) We did'nt get a suite however, but what an awesome idea!!

Wow what a party of hot mamas! Wish I could have been there or even a fly on the wall to check out the dance moves going on in that suite..! You girls sure know how to party and that Mike seems to set up the party scene so great. We had a great time at dinner with him in Munich. Wish you were there too...next trip??!:) I missed that Monkey Bread over conference!
Wow, a suite! Sweet! (I know, I know -- I have my dad's corny sense of humor). Seriously though, that looks like so much fun! And I wouldn't count out forever pulling your hair back. I like it!
Haha ... yes, we're moving to Utah but not until after this semester is over. And we're not going to be there permanently (at least not that we know of right now). We aren't sure yet if we'll be leaving here in December or January.
And as for all my posts I'm pretty behind anyway so all the things I've been posting are from August anyway.
I love your hair back, very sassy! Looks like you had a blast. It is crazy how SYTYCD can make you feel young again, uh! I ran into your mom last week & she looks great (I was not surprised).
