Last Friday we had our first official "nip" in the air. My boys were outside before school and I heard Parker say, "Jace, don't you wish we had jackets so we didn't feel so freezing?" The high was almost 80 that day and the low was not lower than 65.
On Saturday though, it was officially chilly (high of 76, windy, a little cloudy--we are such wimps now). But, it got us excited for fall and cooler temperatures. We headed to a fun dairy farm close by played kids games, did crafts, took a hay ride and ate ice cream. We took a little bike in the late afternoon and we all had on pants and sweatshirts. That night we decorated our funny pumpkins, put a few spiderwebs up on our house and sipped hot chocolate with TONS of marshmellows. It was one of those Saturdays that was "practically perfect in every way."

That's so funny! Seriously here in the spring when it hits about 40 you would think it was time to hit the beach, everyone is so excited!

how is it that Marci & Rick got such a RockStar family & filled it with RockStar "in-laws"?? sounds like autumn in AZ is a perfect time for us to visit....we've never been and i really want to see why everyone LOVES it there so much!

Isn't that the greatest way to decorate pumpkins. So fun!! We keep waiting for Spencer to go with us to get pumpkins, guess it's not going to happen. What a perfect saturday. We will have to try it tomorrow.

Looks like fun-- I am ready for Fall too but Fall in Utah is much different then Fall in Arizona.

And we left town for a bit and I think I missed this cool weather- you are talking about- haha.
No I am excited for it to be cooling down a bit too- even more would be nice.
