Mike went to Germany for almost a week last week for business. He had an amazing time touring through Austira and Munich and was lucky enough to see some of our great friends Chad and Brooke Eardley (and their cute little guy Austin) who live over there. He, of course, didn't bring a camera, so this is the only Germany shot I have of him.
I hate it when he's gone, but it sure makes me grateful for a man who: does bed time every night, plays rough with our boys, locks the house up, wakes up early with James, has the authority to tell kids to 'go back to bed' and they go, makes me sleep soundly, throws a load of wash in, folds socks, does dishes and cleans counters, irons church clothes, sings in the morning, talks loudly, laughs incessantly, listens to me talk and talk and talk, elevates my thoughts to things that are really important, helps me laugh at myself, smiles at my touch, works hard to make me happy, and loves me more than I ever expected someone could.
Boy, am I glad he is home.

i know just what you mean! The nights troy doesn't come home, i just put off going to bed.... it gets later... i get more tired... and yet, i must read a few more pages, or finish that wash or that rerun of cosby show. i just hate being alone and listening to all the scary noises :) wimp i know. so i am so glad that mike is back- i feel for you. and sytycd- i am sooo jealous. that looks like so much fun. and i love your hair back. you are always beautiful.

since you and mike were engaged I have admired the relationship the two of you have. I have aspired to have one of the same kind. thank you for continually sharing the love you have for your husband! I LOVE IT. Mike is SO LUCKY to have you....and all those things he does??? you too are a pretty lucky dancin' mama!
