Parker is 2 and 5 months, and I adore this age. Parker is small, but tough and funny and has an old spirit. He loves his skateboard, and since it is too hot outside, he brought it in and started trying tricks on it. I love it when they talk non-stop, but are still unsure of words or use them wrong. He's always been a little parrot and copycats everything anyone says. If you've heard him talk, you know what I mean when I say he has an accent. It's hilarious. Here are my favorite Parker things lately:
*He was singing "Black Horse and a Cherry Tree" the other day and he said, "No, no, you're not the boss of me." (2nd child?)
*When he comes to me crying I'll ask him, "What's wrong?" and he'll reinact what just happened, "I run, like this, and Jace, kicked me like this, kick kick kick." This comes with actions and everything.
*The other day he looked at me and said, "Mom, you're a freaky."
*He tells me often, "When the bad guys come, I just kick em in the head like this, bam bam." (FYI, I know all you parents of none or one child are shocked by this and wouldn't let your kid play with mine, unfortunately, it's what happens when you have older brothers.)
*He knows all the words to "Jesus wants me for a subeam, and S.O.S by Ciara"
*He is so cute, he can hardly do anything wrong--my heart melts for 2 year-olds!

Too cute, Brooke! Parker is such a sweetie pie. I miss that little guy. Love his little sayings. That's my favorite when they sing songs at 2 years old. It cracks me up!
My sentiments exactly! I was just thinking yesterday that I needed to write down more all the funny things that 2 year olds do and say-I think I will remember but there are too many!Parker is too cute.
I love the music variety. My kids are more leaning to Rhianna these days... "ella-a-a-a-a"
Parker is so cute. I loved all the quotes and wish we knew him better! Maybe when we live so close when I come back (fingers crossed :)
SOOO CUTE!! I think the freaky comment may have stemmed from Mike. I'm surprised your boys don't call each other poopheads, and other endearing names like that more often, with Mike as their role model! Give your kids all big fat smooches for me. Loves.
I love the funny Parks stories...and I love that you titled this post "Skate or Die."
