I went to a well check for James the other day, and they informed me he weighed 18 pounds and is just over 27 inches long. That puts him in the 10th percentile for both weight and height. Give me a break! He is such a chunk. The doctor rechecked his weight and height because he couldn't beleive it either. He is the healthiest looking underaverage baby he has ever seen. On the upside, he is crawling and pulling up on everything, smiling, laughing, waving, playing, interacting, and brightening our days. And one more big thing, he started taking a bottle of formula--my first baby yet. It is so cute to watch him roll around and drink his bottle. Mike absolutely loves to hold him and feed him--I think he understands why I don't give up nursing easily!

I NEVER NEVER had a kid reach the 10th percentile...and they are all happy and smart. I hate those charts!
You gotta be kidding me! With those thunder thighs and chubby cheeks? He looks like he is getting soo big to me and I wish I could see him in person.
I have never had a baby below the 90th percentile...and they are also happy and smart!! I think you need a third opinion! Can you see why I love to bottle feed?

He definitely doesn't look like a 10th percentile baby to me....I don't think Addie's ever been lower than 20th percent and she definitely was a lot leaner than James! He's a cutie though!
I am a little scared for Garrett's nine month visit tomorrow. He is smaller then that. Maybe they have a new "fat american" scale they are comparing kids to??? haha As long as they are healthy and growing I think were good.
