The Diamondbacks are on a roll, so we decided to go check out a game. Everyone was so excited, and since it started at 5, it was supposed to be just perfect--I should know better. Jace fell asleep on the way there, which I thought would be ideal, but he fell into a deep sleep he didn't want to wake-up from. We pulled into the parking garage and our car thermometer said it was 112 degrees, yes, I just wrote 112. Lucky for us, the staudium has a roof and decent A/C, so it wasn't too bad. They gave us all hats when we walked in, and as we sat in our very far away seats, Jace couldn't make a happy face for all the bribes in the world, so here is Parker, loving every minute of thinking he is at a real baseball game. James and Parker had a great time, and once we started bringing out the treats, Oreos and a snow cone, my boys realized how much fun sporting events can be and Jace perked up. James was perfect, and Mike loved watching the game. I'm pretty sure I didn't even see one play because I was pasing out bites of snow cone to each child, 3 of them all hanging on me saying, "My turn," but, I loved it. I wouldn't have it any other way. The best part of the night was singing "Take me out to the ballgame" doing "the wave" and playing "Give me 5, on the side..." This parenting thing sure can be fun. Glad I married a guy who is always looking for different things to do and who loves bringing the whole crew along.

Treats and socializing are the best part of sports! Sounds like fun.
How fun, you are such a cute mom! When I come to visit we need to go to a game, we go to the Angels atleast once a year & love it.
Looks like fun. I love baseball games- you are such a sport to take all three boys and have a great time. It's hard to take more than one out in public, I'm finding! But, totally worth it and creates such wonderful memories.
