James! It has been such a big year for you my sweet little buddy. I have been so impressed by the way you have grown and changed this year. My favorite thing is watching you at school. You are such a leader there...so strong and confident in your abilities and your friendships. You are smart and and kind and mature. You are a great friend to all and you are always the life of the party, making people laugh and teaching them new things. You have also really grown up at home. You are the "go to" person if someone wants to have fun or have a playmate. You are always up for anything. I have loved your natural curiosity...you are smarter than you will ever realize and part of that is because you are so enamored with the world around you. You love numbers, science, and animals and could do without reading on your own :). This year your ability in sports has kicked into over drive. Being the 3rd boy, you know how to play just about everything and being aggressive comes naturally to you. You have been a superstar on each and every team and it doesn't seem like there is a sport that you can't do. Even better than that, you are a great sport and teammate and are always willing to pass and share the glory. You have also become so much more spiritual in preparation for your baptism. You were absolutely prepared to make your covenants and took them seriously. You have been great about reading your scriptures and participating in our family discussions; I love that you always remind everyone to say personal prayers. We love your happy, funny spirit and enjoy you so much in our family. You are sensitive to others and are always willing to give hugs and kisses. You love your extended family very much and have a soft spot in your heart for each one of them. You are such a grateful kid, and never miss an opportunity to share your gratitude. We love you more than you guess!
