Boise!

Once in a great while, you meet those friends that feel like family...the ones you can be away from for months and months and pick up right where you left off, the friends you can't wait to see and wish you could live next door to. For us, it's the Paynes! We met in Arizona and have been incredibly close ever since. We adore them and our kids get along so well...age and gender never matter, they are always fast friends. We had a great couple of days with their family over fall break!

The weekend started off with the big boys heading to the Boise State Football game.

We found ways to occupy ourselves at home with a cute Barbie Jeep, fun house, and ward Halloween party.

The next morning we tagged along to Max's football game where the boys created their own fun.

These girls adored Pierce and he grew to love them too!

That afternoon the kids jumped their little bodies out!

We had a little football watching...these two are my favorite together! Like little brothers all the time!

That night we had date night just like old times. Boy how I missed these two! We love the same food, the same activities and are never short on good conversation.

After their primary program, we had Sunday dinner together, just like AZ. Looking forward to lots more family fun in the years to come!

On our way home from the Payne home, we had a great family lesson moment. The Payne kids are all fantastic...such good helpers, obedient, and honest and the parents are equally inspiring. Our kids walked away from their home understanding a little better how a family that works together and trusts each other can be a much happier family. We are so grateful for good examples in our lives and for kids who are willing to makes changes. We put into practice a lot of good things we learned from them and are seeing positive changes in our home!
