We have enjoyed every second of being closer to family. One of perks is having Mimi and Papa come for little visits. They came a few days before James' baptism and did a lot of helping and serving and lots of playing. We feel so grateful to have them in our lives!
Papa jumped right in on the fun. They are lucky to have such a young grandpa!
Mimi started right in on blocking out some of my future ideals in the kitchen. The vision is so helpful!
We were doing a lot of baptism prep, but we also did a little shopping and room rearranging. Mimi is amazing when she gets going and she never stopped while she was here. By the time she was gone, two rooms had been transformed. Grateful to Papa too for doing all our bidding ;). He is a good man!
We made it to James' Halloween parade!
We had an awesome afternoon of mini-golf at Scary Hill
Parker and James both climbed to the top of the world
We had an awesome time in the Jungle Maze
We loved our hayride through Scary Hill. Pierce was too cute! He was crazy in a good way about all the scary guys.
Jenny and her family came to town on Friday and we were lucky enough to get a few hours in with them!
Mimi made Dracula Smiles with the kids...
There was some good basketball going on...
A little soccer...
Some swinging...
Some football kicking after Jed rigged a little holder for Jace....
And some baby snuggling.
After they headed back to Kamas, the boys got ready for a little trick or treating fun with Mimi and Papa. How fun to have grandparents in town for Halloween! That night we started getting all the food ready for the baptism and tried to prep as much as possible. It was a fun night!
We were also so lucky to be able to be at the blessing of Baby Desi! She is such a sweet little girl and we loved hearing the beautiful blessing Jed gave to her. Wonderful morning!
The only bummer about Sunday morning was that we had to say good-bye to Mimi and Papa. We fit in lots of fun, lots of work, lots of big events and lots of love. Just the way we like it!
