4th of July Fun

Utah is such a great place to celebrate holidays. Our family was totally pumped for the 4th of July this year because he had heard that Kaysville is the the place to be. They were right!

The Monday before the 4th we got together with a bunch of Mike's college buddies who live in the area or who were in town. He is so fortunate to have always associated with awesome people. We all had a blast catching up. The best part was watching all of the second generation become fast friends.

They brought this awesome portable tramp to keep us all busy. It was awesome.

The 3100 Boys

After our little reunion, the Hubers came to town!! It was so awesome to see and spend time with their fun family. The kids had such a blast with each other and we all stayed up way too late every night catching up an cracking up. So great to have lifetime friends.

Pierce and Brinley catching bugs.

The Jones were in town too, so we got together for a dinner out together! Loved it!

Sheri treated us to her 4th of July crepes, yum!

All the kids ate together every morning before the Hubers set off for the day.

Ready to celebrate in our blue!

Enjoyed the super long and hot parade. It is the coolest that we can just walk up right before it starts and get a pretty great spot. Even cooler that they throw out TONS of awesome stuff.

The parade was nice, but what Kaysville is famous for is the water parade that follows! It was incredibly fun! A few of my boys wimped out and totally missed out. By far the coolest parade we have been to. Makes you never want to miss a 4th of July in Kaysville.

After the parade and swimming, we had my family who stayed in town over for a delicious BBQ and some cul de sac fireworks. Little did we know that our cul de sac knows how to party. Seriously huge fireworks for all to enjoy.

Boys are so weird

Girls are so cute.

And the very best part? The real fireworks were walking distance away! We sat on the Jr. High field and had a perfect view...no waiting, no lines, no traffic. It really was the perfect 4th!
