Summer was absolutely delightful this year. It went by at warp speed and I fee like we sucked every bit of fun out of it!
We watch A LOT of All-Star baseball. James was a total natural and a complete stud. In his first tournament he had 5 home runs, a few triples and singles and too many RBIs to count. He ended his All Star season and was completely awesome. So much fun to cheer him on after so many years of him sitting in the stands. He surprised us all. We loved all the support from my mom and dad...they are suckers for grandkids and baseball so this was the perfect combination.
Pierce loves finding the neighborhood cat stalking around.
We spent an afternoon at the aviary and the boys loved it. Such a cool place to explore!
I love the way my boys enjoy nature.
Mike was out of town for Jace's soccer tournament in Logan, so my mom was nice enough to join me. We spent the downtime at the most beautiful park in Logan and watched the boys explore and explore. They are such fun and creative kids.
We got to go to a wedding reception at soldier hollow for Hannah Daybell, one of my Beehives from Virginia. So great to reconnect with so many old friends and celebrate Hannah and Josh.

I was lucky enough to get asked back on Studio 5 to give ideas on making friends after a move. It was pretty awesome.
Parker's team played in his first soccer tournament and they were awesome. They took second to the other Wasatch team. Lots of practicing going on!
We had some beautiful Sunday nights at my parents house. It's so fun to live close again!
