We were thrilled for Mike's parents to come to Michigan for the first time. Too bad they came during the gray and dreary end of winter. I promise Michigan can be green, warm and beautiful. The first day they were here we let the kids play hookey from school and headed to the Henry Ford Museum. I was amazed by how much I loved it...definitely a must see.

Is that an 8 year old face or what? |
I'm not sure what part I liked best...the incredibly inspirational and well done video introduction, watching a Ford F150 be assembled, or touring around the history of the automobile. It was a fascinating spot that even my boys enjoyed. If you are in Michigan, you should go.

That looks like a really cool museum! Several of my family vacations growing up were to michigan, but we never saw anything cool like that.
that's one of our favorites!!! I'm hoping we get the chance to go again before we leave! you should check out the book "kids love Michigan" I think you're family would like it. We have used ours to death while we've lived here. It's full of fun family activities all through out the state.
That would be super interesting! Looks like you guys had fun!
Okay, somehow in the switcheroo of the blog, I somehow stopped following you. So I thought you weren't ever updating, and was getting a little ticked at you. I should have realized not everyone is as lame and slow as me when it comes to blogging.
Your family is so awesome to always visit, no matter where you are. They must really love you guys! (I can see why though, you guys are always so much fun!)
Glad to see you guys are hanging in there and doing good! Your boys are the cutest!!
BTW- love your new(?) bangs!! So super cute on you!
