Michigan VS Michigan State: Romneys VS Olsens

Well the outcome of the game wasn't what we were hoping for, but the outcome of the weekend was perfect!! We were so lucky to have Mitch and Kelly come visit us for the weekend. They are the sweetest aunt and uncle and made my boys feel so special...like always. They were so sad to wake up on Sunday morning to find out Mitch and Kelly were gone. It was a ridiculously beautiful weekend and we loved showing off our fun little town.

We tortured Mitch about his allegiance to the "other" school, but he had the last laugh!Mitch brought Jace a Michigan State shirt and Jace re-invented it all on his own.
We went to an awesome park just down the street and rented a row boat and paddle boat and took them out on the river. My little ones loved it...Jace was less impressed, surprise, surprise.

They made it in time to watch James play soccer, which is hilarious. We miss Arizona sports...Ann Arbor just doesn't measure up. James loved having fans!
They also watched Jace play flag football and he really loved showing off. Kelly even brought them a whole Costco pack of Gatorade (their favorite) and Muddy Buddies to snack on. Needless to say, she was an immediate favorite.

My boys can't wait to get Mitch playing, and it doesn't take long. He is so much fun with my boys.
Parker and James loved showing them the cool river we hang out at by Jace's game. Parker, unfortunately didn't have a game this weekend :(

Kelly came to one of my Zumba classes and shook her skinny body! It was fun to have her there and we enjoyed 2 great meals together and lots of fun chat time and some ridiculous traffic after the game, but it was all worth it.

Thanks Mitch and Kelly for such a fun weekend. We love having the two of you so close.

You are so sweet! I don't know where I've been - honestly. Swallowed up in the throws of motherhood? haha! Man there's a lot to do! I really do hope to blog again, but I'm not making any promises. It makes me feel good to know you care though!

We have been lucky to live near different family members wherever we have lived and it makes such a big difference, so I'm glad you have Mitch and his wife even though you live so far away from everyone else.
