The Discovery Gateway Children's Museum

When Mike and I arrived home, James told me, "Grandpa said the flowers were his dead grandma. Isn't he weird?" I was cracking up. Then, a few days ago, we drove by a cemetary where the sprinklers were on and Parker said, "Mom, why are the sprinklers are? What if the dead people get water in their eyes?" Me: "Oh, honey, it doesn't matter. They are dead." Parker: "But, when they get resurrected, they don't want water in their eyes." Me: "They won't. They are in a box; it's called a coffin. Parker: "That's weird. If I get a disease and die when I'm a kid, I don't want to be put in a box."
Morbid conversation, but that's how his little mind works.

I love this last picture of Jace! So cute! I miss the way your kids minds work. I miss hearing these stories sitting at the park. It's all starting to hit me again now that school starts on Monday! You aren't here to listen to my every whim and me to hear all the fun things your kids say and do!
