We headed to Cali for a 10 day trip and family reunion. It was so fun to see the kids together again and the adults loved their time together too.
We spent HOURS and DAYS in the pool. It was the best...we did lots of swimming, hot tubbing, and diving. The parents liked being in the wateras much as the kiddos.
These boys are my favorite to watch! They really are just big kids.
The bike ride around Mission Bay was one of the highlights of the trip. So fun to have so many big kids now! Especially loved the intense racing competition between Jace, Chaz and Parker. We couldn't keep up.
The Wild Animal Park was HOT but fun. The train through "Africa" was the best part and it was great to have the whole family together.
One of the kid favorites was our outdoor movie night, on a big screen and projector complete with concessions.
Lost teeth already? Parker lost 2 teeth in California...he loved being the star of the show for a moment and couldn't wait for the tooth fairy to bring him his goods.
We LOVE the beach and so do the kids. Everytime we go, we can barely tear them away. The only bummer? The sand that stays with you for way too long.
We had a fun cowgirl birthday party for Lexi. She is such a darling little 2 year old.
There was also a little music this time...they loved playing some literal garage band.
One of the most surprisingly fun things, was the little river at the park by the Romney's house. It had crawfish (or lobsters as the kids claimed). We spent lots of hours catching them!
I'm always surprised by how much kids love Chuck-E-Cheese. They had a blast on our last night there then swam, ate s'mores, and watched movies to celebrate their fun week together. Cousins are the best!
Cassy and I spent lots of hours together and had a GREAT time getting to know each other even better. She's a great mom, aunt and sister-in-law.

I love the hula hoop picture of you! I wish I was at the beach looking at those pictures. A little jealousy coming your way. And I love the garage band thing. That would be way fun to do!
You guys are officially having WAY too much fun this summer. When are you off to Michigan?
I've said it before, but I'll say it again, your hair is amazang (said like when Mia Michaels said, "I thonk it was amazang"). It's that good. And I too, enjoy the hula hoop pic.
How perfect that you got to spend time with both sides of the family before your trek to Michigan. You guys have amazing family....you can tell they just adore you!! So great to see you guys this summer! We definitely adore you all too! Good luck and keep in touch!
um are you ever not on vacation? are you at your new place yet? are you guys driving out to michigan? we still can't believe we missed you. i feel like we blinked and we were gone. so many people we didn't see- makes me sad- but you guys are our biggest bummer. love you and miss you
