Welcome Home Elder O!

My cute baby brother came home from his mission to Madagascar 2 weeks ago. It was a crazy place to serve, but it was perfect for him and he served a great mission. He was so skinny and overwhelmed in the beginning, but it's been 2 weeks and he's back in the swing of things. My parents picked him up and toured the island, then stopped in South Africa for a safari. They said to start saving your money, because it's worth every penny.

Beau gave his homecoming that Sunday and was a great speaker, filled the remaining 40 minutes without ever being boring, and Mike and his sister Jenny sang and it was beautiful. My mom, of course, created an incredible spread that afternoon for more people than we could count. By the end of the day, we were all exhausted, but it was so fun to have us all together again.

Oh my gosh, that CANNOT be little Beau!!! I remember the day he started 1st grade! Makes me feel way too old, but way proud of your little bro.

Congratulations to Beau! Is it weird that I still remember when he was born? How's this for a crazy memory, I still remember you referring to him as "Beau James." Was he born around the time your dad became bishop? Maybe that's why I remember ... who knows, my memory is just crazy!

Anyway, your James' mohawk couldn't possibly be cuter! All your boys look like they jumped out of some fantastic little catalog for GQ preschoolers. I think I'll soon be checking your blog not just for fun, but for tips on how to have the best-dressed little boy in town! Plus I LOVE your sassy belted ensemble. Interior decorate, schmecorate -- you do a fine job decorating your family!
