Our family really loves to bowl--we are considering joining a league. The first activity we did when Beau got home was take the family bowling. My kids absoultely adore it and Mike is actually really good. I'm horrid; I can't even count how many gutterballs I got and my score improved when James started bowling for me, but I think it's so fun and break into cheerleader moves when I hit a lot of pins down.
It's one of those activities the whole family can do together, and we had a great time.

Seriously??? when do you get home.. I believe you have had ENOUGH fun and we are dying here in the heat... with out you I might add! If we come to Utah for the 4th I am going to call you... can we join in on your fun?
You need to do bowling on the Wii... I suck at real bowling (Romneys worked the Porters, if you'll recall) but I got like 6 strikes in a row on the Wii. Great for the self esteem =)
Yeah, I'm so mad that I missed out on Porcupine...let's just say that there is never enough time to do everything when I come out to Utah. Especially since both his family and my family are both here. I hope that next time a drill gathering is planned, I get to come!

Bowling is one of the Jones family's (my fam) favorites because it requires no athletic ability, I think it's mostly luck! I started putting the bumpers up for me when the kids started beating me. What a great time!
BTW - What in the world were you guys doing in long sleeves and jackets in the middle of June in your last post?! Don't you know it's 3005 degrees? Oh, that's just in crazy AZ. Not everybody lives in hell. :)
Bowling is so fun~ no worries I am not very good either... looks like you guys are doing everything in Utah makes me feel I need to take advantage of living here more often.
