Surprise!!

We were so excited when Mimi and Chaz decided on a whim to come see us in Arizona. Jace called Mimi on Sunday and said he wanted to see her and wanted her to bring Shaina and Chaz. Shaina had school, but Mimi and Chaz spontaneously hopped on a Monday morning flight. It was so great to have them here with us, and we wish we lived closer to cousins and grandparents.

Jace and Chaz were inseperable and talked often about being best friends. We had a great Memorial Day swimming with the Jelineks, went to Makutu's Island, a huge, indoor, treeclimbing and slide place, went to Olivia Jones' birthday party, played at the park, looked at houses, and ate at the yummy Farmhouse Grill. We were having such a great time playing that Mimi and Chaz missed their flight. It was a fast trip but so much fun. We are so grateful for grandparents that show such love to us.
