Congrats Grad!

Yes, I'm talking about preschool graduation. Our little Jace graduated from his first year of preschool, and what a year it has been. He is reading small books, doing addition, and has memorized so many songs and rhymes it seems as if there is one for everything. His teacher, Miss Tiffany, is fantastic, and he can't wait to go again next year--he is still only 4.

The Graduation program was incredible. They gave the moms a beautiful apron and a pretty flower that Jace was so proud to give to me. They did a little play where Jace was a cow (he dressed as one, which means he must really love his teacher--he usually doesn't do costumes), they sang songs, counted to 100, did the pledge of allegiance and had a little program. Jace's teacher told me he not only memorized his part, but memorized the parts of all the other students. After the graduation, Mike suggested Cold Stone where the boys gorged on gummy bears with a touch of ice cream...must take after their mom. Jace is such an active kid who loves learning and feels such pride as he accomplishes new tasks. It makes me so excited to see the love he already has for education--it is something that is so important to both Mike and I. Here is to one more year of learning, before he is "five and gets to ride on a bus to Kindergarten.
