The most memorable day this year was: me, Jeremy, Kali, Michael, and Annalee we were out and it was raining, and it felt awesome and we jumping on my tramp and it was late at night and then we all decided to go jump on the tramp and we all got to share good stories about our childhood. At scout camp we all got to go around the campfire and say all the things we enjoy and all our struggles, we cried and bore our testimonies, and it started a traditions of doing that at each campout in our tent and end with a prayer.
If I had one wish it would be: everyone on the earth would stop fighting and that people could live in peace and safety and no one would have to worry about terrorists or war. Just be peaceful.
The best thing that has happened to me this year is: going to scout camp for the first time...it was memorable and pushed me to my limits on a lot of things.
One thing I want to learn to do this year is: Be a better friend. In the past I haven't been that nice to some of my friends, and I have been a little mean and would like to learn to be a better friend and make new friends.
One thing I need to work on is: Oh man, I could give you a list that would go on for hours. Being more respectful to my parents, doing things the first time, and getting things done quickly. Best thing dad has taught me is to believe in yourself and that you can do it. You can do anyting you put your mind to.
If I could go anywhere it would be: Hawaii for the scenery and the feel of it or the Bahamas or a cruise to Jamaica
The most important lesson I've learned this year is: Dad has taught me to believe in yourself and that you can do it. You can do anything you put your mind to. Get things done quickly and get them done well.
Our sweet JJ! What a year this has been. We are so proud of the man you are becoming. Jr. High has given us a lot of growing pains and you have spent a lot of time trying to figure out who you want to be. It has been fun and hard to watch you make mistakes and grow, but you have learned so much throughout the year. You have discovered amazing new talents like theater and singing and made tons of new friends. You have tried out all different sides of your personality and become closer to who you want to be. As a son, I have LOVED how close you have kept me. You spend most nights telling me about your day and the girls you like, and you really like girls! You are still a good brother and let Pierce sleep in your bed every night. You play on the tramp or in the back yard as often as you can with Parker, Jace, and Pierce and are always up for a good time. You are always happy to be home with us and spend time as a family. We love that about you. School has been much harder than you have been used to, but you learned each semester and improved your effort, study habits and grades. You have discovered how smart you really are and I love that about you, really great grades all year. Soccer has been a great experience and your coach and team is just right for you. You are still hilarious, open, brave, and so much fun to be around. You routinely crack me up. You have done a great job with scouts and as a deacon, always early to church and fulfilling your priesthood duty. You are not afraid to share your testimony and even brought a non member friend to church. You are a wonderful missionary. You are so good at learning and saying you are sorry. It is an amazing quality. You show and share your love often and it is a wonderful. Being your mom makes me so happy and watching you grow up is just a joy. I couldn't love you more than I do. Thank you for being my son!
