This birthday was our biggest by far. I cannot believe that my little boy is now a Young Man! He has grown in to such a handsome, energetic, fun-loving, and mature boy. He was so ready to turn 12 and receive the priesthood.
His day started off pretty awesome, with breakfast out with Papa! He was so sweet to come into town to celebrate Jace!
A whole day skiing with brothers and dad!
And, his very first scout camp out on his very birthday. By the time it rolled around, he was a little tired and a bit worried, but it turned out great!
While he was gone, Papa joined us for Friday night basketball practice.
Saturday afternoon, we partied at the Clearfield Aquatic Center with a bunch of his buddies and friends from the neighborhood. Sixth graders are strange, we realized how lucky we are to have Jace!
It was a pretty amazing day...ending with a big gift!
If possible, the next day was even more amazing as he was ordained to the priesthood by Mike. Jace was so ready and continues to take his duties seriously. He loves church and is excited by the gospel. He is a wonderful example for his little brothers and we are so grateful for him!
For those who made it to the ordination, we had a little brunch together. The weather was beautiful and we were able to eat outside!
