School Break Fun

We were back to school, then off for a few days on another break. The first couple were great as the boys broke in new toys and wii games and especially put the air hockey table to use. We all love it.

Then, the week got long as we ran out of things to do. So I decided to ditch our "to do" list at home and take the boys out exploring. We headed to Utah's Natural History Museum which was super awesome. My favorite thing about my boys is their open minds and love of learning. They soak everything in and find it all , "So amazing!!" I kept hearing, "Mom, come look at this!" or "You guys, you have to see this!" It makes me smile.

Even learners get a little antsy, so after almost three hours at the museum, we called it quits and headed outside. Leave it to these 4 to make walking to the car exciting. After a rather perfect day, I got in on the fun and took some pretty cool pictures of their epic jumps.

This photo is amazing, but what you don't see is right after I took the picture, the two of them fell and came rolling down the hill at an insane speed. Luckily, James was okay, and Jace caught Pierce before he hit the rocks. He stood up smiling. Their bravery amazes me every day. I love being their mom.

After the museum, we headed downtown so grandma could show these boys off. On our way to meet her, we rode escalators, skipped along the sidewalks of Salt Lake and ran across streets. It was a beautiful day in every way and one I don't want to forget with my boys. They thought so too...I heard it multiple times from each of them.

Grandma treated us all to a fancy lunch and we gave her kisses before she was back to work. Such a perfect day. So grateful to be able to stay home with them and create moments like these.
