It was so great of Rick and Marci to come back after the funeral. We were all thrilled to have them for one more day! On Sunday evening we went to Sandusky, OH (only a 2 hour drive) to the biggest indoor waterpark in the country, Kalahari! It was AWESOME. We loved every second we were there and could have stayed another day.
Our rooms were huge and fantastic and the boys loved being able to sleepover with Mimi and Papa. They had a cool ice cream and chocolate shop, miniature golf, a rockin arcade and the coolest waterpark complete with a wave pool, lazy river, huge slides, medium slides, tons of slides you can go on with a group of 4, surfing, water basketball, and 2 kid lands. All this and no worries about sunscreen or getting too cold...it was the greatest. We finally left at 9pm on Monday and every second was worth it. Thanks for coming to see us Mimi and Papa; you were both so much fun. We loved having you so much and can't wait to see you again!
(Forgive the photos, they were with my little camera and the lighting was not great)

James loved the wave pool |

Parker hated having to wear a life jacket, but he wasn't tall enough to take it off. Bummer. |

It was so great to have extra adults to keep Pierce happy. We all got to spend lots of time with the baby and lots of time on the waterslides! |
 |
Pierce LOVES the water, even when it's splashing in his face. He could have stayed in the swing all day long with his feet brushing the water. It was heavenly for him. |

Water makes everyone tired :) |

The awesome roller coaster slide |

We thought Mimi looked like a supermodel! |

Jace was a pretty good surfer. It was crazy to give it a shot but tons of fun! |
What a fantastically fun day!
