James loves fanny packs. Every morning he finds his two fanny packs, buckles them around his waist or neck and says, "I have a fanny pack, ha ha!" He's trying to revive a trend. Do you think it will work?
When he woke up this morning, I said, "What did you dream about?" He replied, "My fanny pack. My blue Nemo fanny pack."
The other day I brought him to my workout and he was still wearing them. Um, can you say, "Things I said I'd never let my kid do when I was a parent?"

where did you even FIND fanny packs?!?!?! :)
Jamie, you can find anything at the dollar store!! Can we borrow the fanny packs for our Disneyland trip this July? Do you think the blue Nemo one would fit around my waist? By the way, I know you were wondering, but we are FOR SURE going to see you this year, probably by coming down to Utah in June (or whatever month you happen to be there).
What a cutie! And I agree with Jamie ... how did they make it into your house in the first place? There are SO MANY things I let my kids do/wear that I used to swear I never would. But when they love it they love it!
You don't know me, but we have a mutual friend (Melinda Pugh)...
I was TOTALLY just thinking the other day about trying to bring the fanny pack back. I had a hot pink one as a kid (yep -- got it for the fam Disneyland trip). I LOVED MY FANNY PACK! So functional! So hot pink! Now as a mom it would be awesome if I could waltz into Walmart with my fanny pack on my fanny, my baby riding front-side in a snuggly, my two year old in the child seat, and my four year old in the cart. Hands free!! And I would just look so so cute. Adorable even. Everything all strapped on like that.
hilarious! i love this! he is soo dang cute!!! ummm the fanny pack!? i have seen it sporting around again! hey 80's came back for a bit. why not!? your son, the TREND setter! that is awesome! hahaha
Love you! you are too cute! what angel boys you have!
Ha Ha Ha. Totally had a neon orange one of those, that I took to Lagoon and wore a side pony. Looks like styles really do come back around ; )
Actually, this got me thinking and I am pretty sure the fanny pack never went away. Ask Spencer's mom, Lagoon of 2008. Yes, I did say 2008. Love that little bug.
I hope he carries his love for fanny packs into adulthood. They are totally practical and functional ;O) AWESOME!
I wouldn't leave home without mine!
