We spent last night decorating our Gingerbread train...a tradition our cute Kanenwishers introduced us to. Is there anything better than a Gingerbread kit really? It's so easy and fun and I'm not one bit ashamed of using one. I have to admit though, I spent quite a bit of time telling my kids, "No more candy. Don't put one more of those in your mouth." It didn't work. They ate tons of it...so much that I stuck the train in the garage early this morning before they could ask for a bite.
Parkie also made a cute graham cracker train at his school. James couldn't wait 2 seconds to get his hands on it.

let's make a deal that we can't do gingerbread without the other...well okay not such a great idea considering the 1200 mile problem...wish we could tough!
Seriously, it is NOT worth all the trouble of making your OWN gingerbread stuff! and, last year we bought the kit, and it wasn't soo tasty! SO, this year we did MY cream cheese frosting (MMMMMMMM) and, graham crackers and treats and all, it wasn't SOO great looking BUT the girls LOVED the taste... It is the FUN Of making it that counts RIGHT!??
oh! and RIGHT on telling them NO more candy! HAHA! my girls would be like, YEAH OK... while shoving candy in their mouths!
love you! what cute boys you have
Looks like your boys had fun doing this-- they look like they're good friends.
