A Holy Place

We were lucky enough to be in town to attend the Oquirrh Mountain Temple open house. It was so neat to be able to take my kids to a place that means so much to me. The outside and inside of the temple were breathtaking, and different than any I've seen before. There were some lines, and it was a bit hot inside, so Jace's comment at the end was, "Wow mom. That wasn't as cool as I thought it would be." It was interesting to me that he said that, but then I realized what makes it such a spiritual place is the work that is done there after it is dedicated. Before then, it's just another beautiful place. I'm so grateful for temples, and for my forever family.
