I'm crazy about New Year's. I'm not a fan of the celebrations, but i LOVE making new goals. I usually make a million of them and don't keep any, so this year I decidedo on a theme. I decided I would make concious choices about my life. It is so easy to let your life take over...I let that happen at the end of last year, but this year is going to be different. I will make concious choices about reading scriptures, eating, playing with my kids, reading, writing, exercising, etc. A new year just excites me...it's like a new chance to be who I really want to be.
On the fun side of things, for New Year's we headed to The Melting Pot in La Jolla with Mike's family and Bryce's girlfriend. The food was a deliciously decadent way to say good-bye to 2008. We all loved the fondue and the good times spent together!

You guys always look so glamorous (ok mostly you!!). We'll have to talk about The Melting Pot sometime. Matt and I went there for our anniversary this year (the one in Chandler), and I was totally unimpressed. Maybe I had it built up too much in my mind, but I thought the food was really bad, the ambiance was terrible, and it was crazy expensive!! I'm sure the one in La Jolla is better though. Glad you had a fun New Years!
Brooke you are always so sweet! I am way jealous of your fun holiday in Cali. And I totally agree with Jennae, you always look so glamorous.
P.S. I totally want to cut my bangs like yours! They are so cute!
La Jolla is my most favorite place! You guys have had some great vacations. I am with you I love making the goals rededicating who and what I want to be in the new year.
You are so darling!!! oh! i LOVE your hair! I am glad you guys did something fun!!! love you!!!
Oooh, I love the Melting Pot! You all look so beautiful!
Last year I started a new thing. Instead of making a long list of goals for the whole year, I made a few for the whole year and then made monthly goals. Then I wouldn't forget about them by the end of the year. I could evaluate after each month and it worked out so well! I'm doing it again this year. So anyway, I agree, I love making goals!
