I'm generally a pretty optimistic person. But my Pollyanna attitude is dead and buried. Here is why...
-Going on week 5 without Mike...he comes Friday yeah!
-I'm a little over 5 months pregnant and we don't have A/C
-It was 99 degrees today with plenty of humidity
-We don't have A/C
-I have a house to clean, 4 people to pack for 7 weeks, and boxes to fill up since we'll be moving when we get back
-We don't have A/C
-It's supposed to be even hotter tomorrow
-We don't have A/C
-I have too much to do around here to flit out and about in nicer, cooler places, but I may not have a choice...i just might drop everything tomorrow
-Did I mention we don't have A/C?
-I"m typing this and sweating and it's 9:40.
-Did I mention we don't have A/C?
So, since I must find the silver lining...this gives me a pretty "bad" pregnancy story to share for the rest of my life :)!
There is nothing better than a house full of boys...come on in.

Ew. I am so sorry you don't have A/C. That is torturous.
Living in humidity without A/C....one might as well just wither away and die. And being pregnant through it all just makes it worse. Oh, I feel for you! I hope better days are ahead.
Isn't humidity the worst? The bugs cant be as horrible as VA though...maybe that can be the plus
So sorry Brooke. It sounds horrible. You are coming here for 7 weeks, right? It is great weather here finally.

Oh Brooke, I should have left you with my keys to escape to my house while I am out of town. If I would have known how hot it was going to get I would have. Good luck with everything!!!
that is the WORST! we didn't have a/c in vermont for the first 4 years and then the summer i was due to have my first baby, i told michel i didn't care anymore - we were getting a/c! just the window units, but still! i needed something! have you checked craigslist for a window unit? even if it only cools one room, i would stay in that room all day! good luck! that is so miserable, i would totally come help you if i could.
