They're Here! They're Here!

It had been WAY too long since we had seen my parents. The boys were so excited, we started counting down when there were 21 days left. Mike wasn't sure who was more excited, me or the boys, and I think it was a toss up. My mom arrived first and she is just the greatest. We picked her up from the airport and she brought out her "candy bag." From that point on, James was constantly saying, "I want candy in a bag." At lunch the boys saw her camera and started posing immediately. When Parker came home from school, he posed for more pictures, then followed her around everyhwere. They just love her, and you should have seen Jace when he came in from school...those two have something really special. They just hugged and cuddled for much longer than he usually sits still.

I love her for different reasons. Who else gets excited looking at your grocery ads, wipes clean every crevice in your refridgerator and never makes you feel bad, does laundry contantly and folds everythng crisply, makes or buys every meal for 5 whole days, does bedtime with the kids and likes it, thinks each of your children are soooo smart, tells you you look skinny, tells you some of the clothes you are trying on are NOT CUTE no matter what belt and heels you plan on adding to it, buys Christmas clothes for the boys, can hang with your friends anytime and doesn't seem a day older, kisses boogery faces, changes dirty diapers, pushes swings forever, gives you a much needed break, plays games non-stop, wakes up at the crack of dawn and never complains, takes walks, has a listening ear, and loves you loves you loves you. Mom, you are the BEST!
