A Whole Lotta Love

The weekend before Valentine's Kelli and Sally put on the most spectacular party. The invitations came in a darling box full of truffles, and the party was beautiful--straight out of a magazine; including the catered Pei Wei (so happy no one had to cook!)

We ate and had great conversation, then played the newlywed game which included crazy creative questions and a pictionary challenge that left everyone questioning how cute our husbands think we are. I definitely know more about my friends than I needed to know! But, it was so fun.

I learned lots about Mike too--never knew he wanted a Ferrari. We were not the winners or the losers, but wished we were since they went home with a fabulous basket full of love items. At the end of the night we ate homemade cheesecake and brownie pie while snacking on sour watermelons. By the end of the day my jaw hurt from smiling and my belly ached from laughing. We have the GREATEST friends (have I said that enough?? I feel bad I didn't get pics of everyone!) PS, no party I EVER plan will be like this. I just don't have it in me; I'll blame it on my mom.

The lack of interest in decor and speding money on things we will throw away...but our food is always fantastic!!!

What a freaking blast. I can't believe that the valentines party I was supposed to have with Kelli never was, but she goes off and plans it with another woman. And kudos to Grandma Kimmy for raising a daughter who can cook up some delicious food. Also a big thanks to Grandma Kimmy for providing the condo that created so many memories. We really appreciate her generosity.

I want to pack my house and move to your neighborhood and hope that I am cool enough to be in your circle of friends. I love this whole idea. I want to go to this party. So cute.

B- Looks like a blast. Good friends seriously make everyday wonderful. I'm glad you have so many close by!

and P.S. I'm sure if you wanted to have mad party throwing skills you'd cultivate them. I guess you're probably just busy writing newspaper columns, traveling, moving, doing church work, raising adorable boys and blogging! : )

Now that's what I call a Valentines Day Party!!! I LOVE it!! I LOVE to decorate with a theme and make all cute decorating stuff to set a fun table, but STINK at cooking, lets start a book on entertaining...we could call it Food & Fluff!!

Everyone looks so cute in the pictures, so fun to see familiar faces. We sure miss our AZ friends & compare our new friends to you guys all the time, not to their faces of course!! =)

Oooh- what a fun party, Brooke! You look beautiful as always! So fun to have it catered- rather than have to cook.

Oh- and how cute are those pics of Jace and Parker???

What a gorgeous party. My stuff never looks like that. Maybe if I wasn't cooking the food...
